The Club includes sequential on-demand video lessons, printable worksheets, and monthly live teaching sessions that focus on building fundamental literacy skills. It’s designed to provide ongoing support and resources, allowing your child to work on specific literacy skills in a way that suits their individual needs.

As a parent, you’ll also have access to a private community where you can connect with other families, share tips, and get advice tailored to your child’s literacy journey.

The On Demand Phonics Lessons are an essential part of The Phonics Club. They are structured literacy sessions focused on essential phonics skills that are often not taught in schools (or not consolidated effectively) and are the missing piece to your child's literacy skills.

Yes, The Phonics Club offers live lessons each month through the Literacy Masters Live groups. Access is through the portal. These lessons focus on specific literacy skills, such as reading rules and spelling strategies. Here's how they work:

Scheduled Sessions: Live lessons are held monthly, and you’ll receive a schedule in advance so you can plan to attend. We vary the day so that as many kids as possible get a chance to come live.

Interactive Learning: The lessons are conducted in an interactive group setting, where your child can engage with the material in real-time.

Flexible Access: If you can’t attend the live session, all lessons are recorded and made available in the members’ library, so you can watch them whenever it’s convenient for you and your child.

Flexible: Unlike the Phonics lessons, the Masterclass sessions are not sequential, so your child can come to any lesson without having to have completed previous masterclasses.
These fun live lessons provide the fundamental skills that make reading and spelling make sense for your child while giving you direct access to additional guidance and advice at the end of each masterclass.

If your child struggles with the lessons, there’s plenty of support available through The Phonics Club:

1. Recorded Lessons: You can revisit any lesson at your child's pace by accessing the recorded versions in the members' library. This allows them to go over challenging content as many times as needed.

2. Parent Resources: Along with the lessons, you’ll receive practical guides and tips in the Phonics Club to help you support your child’s learning at home. These resources offer strategies for reinforcing key concepts and helping your child overcome difficulties.

3.  Direct Messaging: As a member, you will have access to directly message Kristy in The Phonics Club Community to seek help and formulate a plan going forward.

4. Priority Email Access: As a member, you’ll also have priority email access for personalised support. You can reach out for advice on how to assist your child with areas they find difficult.

5. Private Member Community: You’ll also have access to a private online community of parents who share similar experiences. This space allows you to exchange tips and seek advice from others who understand your child’s challenges.

6. 1:1 Lessons with Kristy: If your child needs extra support, you can book one-off or a series of 1:1 lessons with Kristy. 7. Functional Literacy Assessment: If you’re unsure about where your child needs the most help, or what is getting them stuck, we can run a functional literacy assessment. This detailed assessment will give us a deeper understanding of their specific needs and help us devise clear goals for their literacy journey.

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time if you are paying monthly or weekly, simply give us notice at least 7 days before your next billing cycle, and we’ll cancel your membership with no further charges.

If you’ve taken advantage of the discounted 12-month offer, please note that no refunds are available for early cancellation. However, you will retain access to all resources and lessons for the duration of the 12 months.

Any unused resources or live session recordings will remain available to you until the end of your current billing period. There’s no long-term commitment with the monthly or weekly plan, so you can manage your membership based on your child’s needs and progress. We’re here to support you and make cancellation as smooth as possible.

Yes, the price is likely to rise in the future BUT if you join now, your membership price will remain the same for as long as you stay a member. The good thing about joining now is that your low rate is locked in while your membership is active.

Any future price increases will only apply to new members or anyone rejoining after cancellation, and you’ll be notified in advance of any changes.
